India’s biggest chain of toothpaste shops is selling fluoride toothprescription products from its US outlets.
A website, www.diy-fluoride-shop.com, has opened up its first store in Chicago and will sell its products at a kiosk near the city’s Willis Tower.
It has attracted a lot of attention in the United States with reports of tooth decay and other health issues.
Diy-Fluorine-Shop said it will be open from 10am to 7pm on Tuesday and sells toothpaste from the company’s US outlets including Costco, Walgreens, and Rite Aid.
“We want to offer people a range of products for their different needs.
We want to provide products that are affordable, and are safe and effective,” said Ashutosh Shah, president of the chain.
The company said its sales were up 40 per cent in India and in the last two years, its sales had grown by 40 per part per million.
Its online store has over 10,000 products and has already attracted more than 10 million orders.
